I was inspired to write this lyric the other day, because of the terrorist act that happened in New York City on a subway train. It has to do with how accessible guns are in our country, and how they end up in the wrong people's hands. I'm not against the second amendment, but what I am against is getting guns illegally, or not doing the proper background checks. The person that did this the other day, could be very mentally ill, and should be given support way before these things come to fruition. You definitely was a very angry, and deranged person, but who knows what demons he was fighting. No I'm not excusing the act at all, and he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent, or sent to a mental facility for the rest of his life. But the fact that guns are so easily accessible, will continue to keep these mass shootings happening.
This lyric is pretty self-explanatory. It's about a woman who was like a black widow spider, and once she catches you in her web, you can never leave until you die. She does this to multiple guys, it doesn't care how many she takes now. She's very cunning and fools you into thinking that her love is true. Then before you know it you're caught in the web.
This lyric is about two people who are deeply in love. But one of them has been sick for a long time with cancer. They finally die, and the other person reflects on what they had between them. They also don't want to be patronized by other people and have them say oh it was meant to be. That's pathetic, although it may be true. They need kindness, a hug, softness, and support. If you going to be that way to someone in their time of need especially when they lose a loved one then just leave them alone and let them grieve the way they need to. Eventually through the process of having supportive friends, and through their own way of grieving, they will be able to move on in life.
This lyric is about a relationship where one person sees the love of their life and finally ask them to marry them. Unfortunately that person says no, he tells them that there's someone else. That's got to be a devastating thing to hear, and we'll just do so much damage to your ego pride and faith. You can't always get what you want in life, and that's true in relationships plenty of times. It takes a while to bounce back and move on but at some point you have to do it. You have to dig deep, get up and dust yourself off, and move forward if you don't, bad things will happen.
This lyric is also about love, and the lack of it in a relationship. Similar to my lyric love love, this is about a relationship with one person just pulls a 360 almost in an instant. This takes you for a loop, as both people had talked about never wanting to be a part. All of a sudden the sunshine went away and the rain came down. When stuff like this happens in a relationship, there's usually one person who gives everything, while the other person can take and take and take. It doesn't happen all the time I'm not saying that it does, but it tends to be that way when things don't go well. One person feels one way and the other person feels the other and things usually go in a different direction for one person.
